June 2023: Gulfstream LNG has received its Department of Energy FTA Export Permit. The Permit can be downloaded by clicking here.

March 2024: Gulfstream LNG filed an amendment to its Department of Energy FTA Export Permit for the new site, a few miles downstream of the original application site. The amendment can be downloaded by clicking here.

April 2024:  Gulfstream LNG Development, LLC submits Request to Initiate Pre–Filing Review for the Gulfstream LNG Terminal Project under docket PF24-5. Gulfstream LNG becomes the first greenfield project in five years to be in the FERC permitting process. 

May 2024: Gulfstream LNG received its Approval to use the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) pre-Filing process, kicking off the FERC permitting process. Filings can be accessed via the FERC elibrary site and entering Docket number PF24-5.

July 2024: As part of its FERC permitting requirements, Gulfstream LNG will host its community Open House meetings on Monday July 22nd and Tuesday 23rd 2024 at the Belle Chasse Auditorium and Port Sulphur Community Center respectively. The events will be held between 5 to 7 pm.

Representatives of both FERC and Gulfstream LNG will be on hand to answer any questions. We encourage community members to attend either meeting to learn more about our project and  our plans to integrate with the community.
